The Faculty of Economics and Business provides a wide-ranging course program at undergraduate and graduate level.

The online course catalog (LSF/QIS) contains detailed information on all lectures, seminars, exercises etc. at Goethe University for a particular semester. The course catalog is published twice a year, in late January for the following summer semester and in late June for the following winter semester.

Here, we additionally publish an overview of all courses (ie both classes held in German and in English) that are potentially available for exchange students at the Faculty of Economics and Business. You will still need to use LSF to look up the courses' particulars.

Please note that the registration modes can vary between courses and that some classes are capacity-constrained (on Master's level, in particular). You can find a comprehensive guide to registration and eligibility here. Please also refer to our FAQ.

Exams take place during the first two weeks after the end of the lecture period (current examination dates can be looked up here). Exchange students register for their exams at the Faculty's International Office, respectively the Examination Office. Information will be provided upon arrival.

In case the examination period overlaps with the beginning of the following semester of the home university, exchange students can be offered pre-scheduled examinations. This requires the consent of the examiner of the course. The Faculty's International Office will provide detailed information about this process in due time, as well.

You can find further information on the FAQ sheet and the information sheet regarding course registration here. Please refer to this document to learn about the evaluation of academic achievement and its equivalents. The Transcript of records will be sent directly to the home university.
